Because for Trento, being European Volunteering Capital represents a unique opportunity for growth and development, not just among the volunteering sector but for the wider community and stakeholders in the city and the province.
While being the "Capital" means showcasing volunteering in Trento to the rest of Italy and Europe, above all it means taking on an important challenge. To do so, we worked together to build a programme that encourages relationships and encounters, delivers projects, activates experiences and laboratories, facilitates debate and exchanges, and fosters reflection and construction of ideas for positive impact in the medium and long term.
This wonderful opportunity will allow us to redefine some of the ways we work together in the city and the wider region. This involves all of us: we, the people, the institutions, the organizations and associations, the companies, and the volunteers.
